Registration for the next GLA:D course for physiotherapists is now open!

 

Location: The in-person training day will be held at St. Vincent's Private Hospital

Date: Saturday March 2nd 2024 from 9.30 am to 5pm.

Places are limited. Sign up on Eventbrite.

Course Format

Courses will be delivered in a hybrid format with all theoretical content available online and practical components delivered face to face with GLA:D tutors over one day.

​

Participants will have at least 2 weeks to complete 7-8 hours of online materials before the practical day.

**Completion of these components is a requirement to attend the practical day. 

​

Course Fee: €320 per participant. 

Learning Outcomes

  • Understand the latest research on the degenerative process associated with osteoarthritis.

  • Understand the latest knowledge and evidence on osteoarthritis management strategies.

  • How neuromuscular exercises can be used in the context of osteoarthritic changes.

  • How to assist individuals to implement the neuromuscular stability into their every day lives.

  • Processes for registering programme participants in the GLA:D® Ireland database.

  • How to implement the programme at a clinic, in a hospital, or in another appropriate setting.
